With over 30 years of fishing experience, Captain Brian White’s deep knowledge of the Outer Banks waters sets him apart. His expertise in fish behavior, seasonal patterns, and advanced techniques ensures that anglers of all skill levels have an unforgettable experience on each trip.
Captain Brian started fishing full-time in Hatteras, NC in 1989. In 2002 he moved his boat to Texas and returned to Wanchese in 2008, where he’s been ever since. Fishing runs deep in the family. Growing up on Coral Lake, he spent countless hours on the water chasing bass, stripers, and catfish. For Captain Brian, fishing is more than just a profession; it's a way of life. The thrill of never knowing what you’ll catch keeps every day exciting, and the ocean's peacefulness provides a much-needed escape from the stresses of daily life. Once you leave the shore, all your worries stay behind, and being on the water is where he truly feels at home.
In 2021, Captain Brian built Waverunner, a 63-foot vessel and the third boat he has built by hand. What began as a hobby grew into a true craft, driven by his lifelong passion for boatbuilding and life on the water. The name Waverunner had always been in the back of his mind, a fitting title for years of adventure at sea. Captain Brian loves the camaraderie that comes with charter fishing, meeting people from all over and sharing his love for the sport. Fishing is a great family activity for all ages, bringing people together and creating memories that last long after the trip ends.
